POPULARÂ ANTIWRINKLE TREATMENTS
Botulinum toxin is a prescription only medicine and can only be administered after an initial face-to-face consultation with a prescriber.Â
Toxin used within the clinic is only ever obtained from a UK registered pharmacy for your safety and peace of mind.
The main areas that are typically treated using anti-wrinkle injections are frown lines, forehead lines and 'crow's feet' around the eyes.
These are classified as 'areas'. If you are unsure about how many areas you need to address your concerns, please book for a consultation.

When will I see results?
The effect of treatment generally takes 4-14 days to reach full effect.
Some patients with very active facial muscles require a follow-up treatment 2-3 weeks after their initial treatment.

How long will the effects last?
The effects of Botox treatment are not permanent. The effects peak at around 2-3 weeks after treatment, after which they will very gradually wear off. The overall effects of treatment should last 3-4 months initially, but after repeated treatments the effect should last longer.

Side-effects
As with any injectable procedure, there may be discomfort and bleeding on injection. There may also be minor bruising and swelling at the injection site. This should resolve within a few days.
Other possible side effects may include headache, itching, tingling or numbness.
Very occasionally, a patient may develop drooping of the eyebrow or eyelid, or puffiness below the eye. This usually lasts for no more than 1-2 weeks.
